Welcome to Bolivia's most stunning natural attraction, with a magical combination of mountain peaks, Andean scenery and crystal-clear waters over the salt flats. First stop is the legendary Cementerio de Trenes (Train Cemetery), a fascinating site reminiscent of Bolivia’s booming mining industry in the 1900’s. Later, take a stroll around beautiful Colchani market, nestled in the southeastern rim of the salt flats (Salar). Enter the Salar and visit the former salt hotel Playa Blanca with its colorful multinational flag stand (sometimes it may not be possible to reach this point if the water level is too high). After lunch, continue your drive on the vast “Mirror of the Sky” with great photographic opportunities thanks to the perfect reflection (weather-permitting) caused by the flooded surface of the salt flats. On the way back to Colchani enjoy more great photographs and general fun before arriving in the town of Uyuni between 18:00-19:00 in time for your flight or bus out (alternatively stay overnight in Uyuni on your own) marking the end of our full day Uyuni adventure.
